Duo Dance Dress Code

Ballet

Pop Tots/Tweens and Jazz

Combo: Ballet/Tap

Leotard: Any Color or style
Tights: Pink ballet tights (footed or convertible).
Ballet Shoes: Pink ballet slippers with elastic straps securely sewn. (we have some to borrow until purchased)
Hair: secured in a bun out of the face and off of the neck
Optional: Ballet skirt or wrap sweater for colder weather.

Combo: Ballet/Tap

Tights: leggings or ballet tights pink or black (footed or convertible).

Tap Shoes: Properly fitted tap shoes. black. (we have some to borrow until purchased)

Bottoms: Dance shorts, leggings, or fitted dance pants that are comfortable to move in
Footwear: Jazz shoes (split sole or full sole) in tan or black. Or Clean closed toe sneakers.
Hair: Pulled back and out of the face, often in a ponytail or bun to allow for free movement

Tap

Lyrical/Contemporary

Pop Tots/Tweens and Jazz

Solid color leotard or fitted top.
Bottoms: Dance shorts, leggings, or fitted dance pants that are comfortable to move in
Properly fitted tap shoes. black or tan.
Hair: Pulled back and out of the face, often in a ponytail to allow for free movement.

Lyrical/Contemporary

Any color leotard or fitted top.
Bottoms: Dance shorts, leggings, or fitted dance pants that are comfortable to move in.
Footwear: Foot undies, half-soles, ballet shoes or bare feet (as instructed by the teacher).
Hair: Pulled back off of the face to keep focus on expressive movements.

Bottoms: Sweatpants, joggers, or dance shorts.
Footwear: Clean sneakers or dance sneakers with non-marking soles.
Hair: Pulled back and out of the face, often in a ponytail to allow for free movement.
